Mohammad Salahuddin, head coach of defending champions Comilla Victorians, expressed confidence in their squad and showed enthusiasm in acquiring Rahkeem Cornwall.

What Happened in the Last Season of BPL?
Comilla Victorians won the 2023 edition of the Bangladesh Premier League by defeating Sylhet Strikers in the final of the tournament. It was the fourth time they had won the competition.
The Strikers had scored 175/7 in the title decider thanks to an unbeaten 74 off the bat of Mushiqur Rahim but Johnson Charles blasted 79* to help the Victorians clinch the win in the final over.
This was after Strikers and Comilla had finished off the top two at the end of the league stage of the competition and faced off in the first Qualifier. Comilla defeated the Strikers in that game to enter the final.
Rangpur Riders edged out Fortune Barishal in the Eliminator but failed to get past Strikers’ 182/7 in the second Qualifier.
