Montreal Tigers win Global T20 Canada
The third edition of the Global T20 Canada tournament is set to take place at the CAA Centre in Brampton, Ontario. The GT20 tournament is slated to begin on July 20, until the 6th of August 2023. The player draft for this third season was conducted in a hybrid format on June 14, 2023, in Mumbai, with franchise representatives joining in from various locations worldwide.
GT20 will follow the same format as the IPL, featuring six teams: Brampton Wolves, Montreal Tigers, Mississauga Panthers, Surrey Jaguars, Toronto Nationals and Vancouver Knights. The league will feature notable players including Harbhajan Singh, Shoaib Malik, Chris Gayle, and Andre Russell among others.
